Thousands of words left unsaid,
Flooded their minds as they went to bed.
The tornado of feelings, war of thoughts,
No longer did they know what they sought.
That touch of the skin was like a whiskey shot,
Inexplicable is the sensation it brought.
She didn’t want these words to be bombastic,
What they had seemed unrealistic.
Days were yet to come when they would simply exist,
As they tried to figure this out and see through the mist.
It wasn’t love or an infatuation,
Something too beautiful for their imagination.
